I tried to find the words today,
fighting the tide that pulled me back,
I stepped into the waves
and waited for them to approach me.
I stood still, frozen to the spot,
nothing moved, the words
the clouds, the tide
all still, all frozen
I tried to find the words today,
I tried to make them bloom,
I found them frozen, trapped, dying.
