Lyrical Sunday - Together


Together for the first time.
I watched them, exploring new places,
Discovering how things had changed.
Together for the first time,
I watched the years disappear,
Discovering how little had changed.
Together for the first time.
I heard them, testing out new roles
Discovering the difference a child can make.

    Oh, this is so beautiful and I'm so glad you are still writing your amazing poetry. I keep thinking, 'I must start writing again!'. I think Charlotte is too busy for it this year and isn't as interested. I did really enjoy the focus each week of writing and it's wonderful to look back on the poems of last year. You've inspired me to get cracking! Thank you x
