overflowing, even, with the good things,
and some of the bad,
so full that the words have been spent there
in the moment, in the hours after sunset,
in the minutes during the day that linger
spare words haven't had time to fill a phrase on a page,
the words have been caught in my throat
in my heart
as I build stories others will tell
