On being a finalist and channelling Fay R!

I received an email this morning saying that my submission to a local poetry competition has made it to the finals. *happy dance*

Then I read that the finalists are reading their poems. 

This Friday!


Out loud.


In public.


In front of an audience.


In front of the director of the International Institute of Modern Letters at Victoria University Wellington, Bill Manhire (CNZM).


I'm not intimidated at all.
I'll channel my friend Fay R and be a kickass performance poet! (It's too late to get her a plane ticket and fly her here!)
