BROKEN
Like a vase met on a window ledge by an awkward cat
Broken
Like a car, hazard lights flashing, pulled over on the motorway
Broken
Like a twig cracking beneath the boot of an out of breath tramper
Broken
Like a pipi dropping from high by a ravenous seagull
Broken
Like a computer failing to load, (not responding to any verbal or key bashing threats)
Broken
Like a bubble sailing down onto stony driveway
Broken
Like a toddler’s tantrum rage throwing a neglected truck
Broken
Like a window which couldn’t stand up to a speeding cricket ball
Broken
Like our family when you chose gambling over us

I really enjoyed reading this. I like the seemingly simple breakages leading to the destruction of a family.
